Jun 11, 2024 · I want to keep a dog but imagine every year, counting down, and wondering why time goes by so fast for them is so sad. I used to have one but we moved house so he went to live with another family instead, and everytime I go to see him, maybe it's like 3-4 months for us, but it's like a year to them, then he looks older every time, and it's so sad.

Think it’s just a meme from a Korean or Japanese message board/community. There’s a lot of different characters in that style. Doro just caught on here because she’s somewhat more menacing/cursed in that style compared to other nikkes.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I must say the homophobic dog memes is one of my favorites. For some reason I love the idea of a judgemental and homophobic dog, the expressions on the dogs face is always so accurate as well.

You do make a great point. That's why I have never adopted a dog at a shelter. You never know what you get. It is always a high-risk situation. A dog like that turned over to a shelter would be a problem to the next owner. It would need some pretty strong corrective methods to get it back into shape. And then it wouldn't be worth the time.
