The problem that i'm facing is that, the mr2 is my daily driver and ONLY car. Currently I can only work on my car in my driveway, which means I can't really dissasembly my car a whole lot without being scared people are going to fuck with it.

May 25, 2013 · Best handling MR2 Ive ever driven was custom double valved Konis in stock modified housings, with custom tophats and 13k fronts and 8k rears with swift springs and no swaybars. Actually rode pretty damn nice too.

Aug 9, 2006 · Right on! A support bracket is a good idea. Maybe even a frame support system that would allow you to fabricate a 'cover'. I've cut a few MR2's right in half, and let me tell you - those formed pieces of sheet metal that form the tunnel are pretty rigid (especially farther down from where you cut).-Shaun

Aug 14, 2020 · My blue MR2 has had the igniter go bad twice, at 260K and at 293K. Both times I got a Code 3 and they were spot on. (I used igniters from junkyards, so that explains why one last only 33K.) I also had the correct code pop up when my O2 sensor needed replacement. The self-diagnostic was right. So I trust the Diagnostic Code system in the MR2.

Apr 8, 2015 · It has become common in recent years to convert cars that came staggered to square setups. Typically front engine RWD stuff like BMW's, 350Z/370Z, etc. But those are typically either nose heavy or 50/50 weight distribution. Certainly not rear biased like the MR2. What that means is the MR2 can really make use of those wider rear tires.
