Improvised vehicle armour is a form of vehicle armour consisting of protective materials added to a vehicle such as a car, truck, or tank in an irregular and extemporized fashion using available materials.

The bulldozer was a modified Komatsu D355A, [3] which he referred to as the "MK Tank" (or "Marv's Komatsu Tank" [8]) in audio recordings, fitted with makeshift composite armor plating covering the cabin, engine, and parts of the tracks. Three external explosions and more than 200 rounds of ammunition fired at the bulldozer had no effect on it.

Narco tanks, also called as rhino trucks and monstruos is a type of improvised fighting vehicles used by drug cartels. They are civilian pickup trucks, dump trucks, semi-trucks or other large vehicles fitted with armaments, improvised vehicle armour and firing ports.

This is a homemade, tracked, all-terrain vehicle, built almost entirely from scrap metal and junk that I was able to scrounge from parts boneyards and scrap piles. The entire project, from gathering junk to putting the final touches on the paint, took me about a year-ish to complete.
