Aug 18, 2018 · I tried the new maruyama blower and the blow force honestly felt similar. I felt my makita was easier to manipulate the leaves with a angles tip where the other just blows a hole. The makita is a very comfortable blower to wear and minimal vibrations. I assume you looked at them at the dealer I deal with. Superior Industrial.

Early last spring, ran it one day to blow off my own driveway, put it away, next time I pulled it out to use--a week or two--dry summer last summer, wouldn't start. This would usually indicate a fuel problem.

Aug 13, 2018 · Dolmar 4 stroke backpack is a good brand, but I'd rather get a Makita since Dolmar is harder to find or parts. I think they merged into just Makita anyway. May 12, 2013 · This is my 2nd BP blower...the other is a RedMax 8001, used since '09 I believe. I'm a big proponent of quality 2-stroke oil (Stihl Ultra) mixed into ethanol-free premium (91 octane) fuel. The RM8001 is still running strong, VERY strong. The Dolmar engine is manufactured by Makita Numazu.

Dec 2, 2023 · My small craftsman 4-cycle hand blower is pushing oil through the air filter. Engine was hard to start unless using starter fluid. I removed and cleaned carb, installed new fuel lines. Has good spark. Will start with starting fluid, stumbling off 1/2 choke. Any ideas what’s up with the oil coming out the breather tube in the air filter?
