Well, look at the other two other RPGs that came out that same year and one that came out a year later, Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG. Both basically pushed the SNES to its limits, which was to be expected in 1995/1996. Chrono Trigger took place in a fantasy setting and had great graphics. Super Mario RPG was a Mario game that looked amazing.

I don’t think Nintendo cares if they don’t make a profit off of these games… Earthbound is way better than all of these. 3.) It made number one on the most wanted VC games, twice!-I think that is an amazing feat! And look at Mario RPG, that was released on the VC! It is only a matter of time before Earthbound.

The Earthbound games don’t have enough familiar faces. These days, it’s all about familiar faces. The gamers have to be comfortable when they play and surrounding them with new faces would frighten them. That’s why the latest Mario RPG games are filled with Toads and Koopalings and Bowser is the final boss.

Overall, I hope you read this message and maybe, just maybe, think about the idea, it would be like the new Super Mario RPG remake. I hope this is read by the big man himself, Mr. Itoi, and maybe some new merch for the game.
