Nov 3, 2022 · Most single-day safari tours for Hwange National Park pick up from Victoria Falls and enter the park through the Mbala Gate. This is near the incredible Painted Dog Rehabilitation Center, which is an incredible place to stop if you have the time.

Definitely you need 4X4 to reach ROBINS CAMP which has been nicely renovated. Yes its possible to go via Main Camp though its much easier to go through mbala gate just a hundred kilometers or so from Victoria Falls.

Hwange Bush Camp is located near Dolilo Pan in the Robins Area of the Hwange National Park. The camp is a 4 hour drive from Victoria Falls.

At Mbala gate you will be met by your guide and transferred, game viewing en route through the Hwange National Park to Camp Hwange. This transfer is a game viewing drive, with plenty of photographic opportunities, and you will arrive in camp well in time for lunch.

There are many ways to get to Mbala using private or public transport. You can drive, take the coach, local bus, local taxi. The local airport is managed by Zambian Airforce but there are plans to open the facility to commercial flights in 2022.
