Disney has officially announced that it will be releasing a brand new original documentary, “Mija”, on Disney+ in the United States on Friday 16th September 2022. The documentary features Doris Muñoz and Jacks Haupt, two daughters of immigrants from Mexico who are both navigating their careers in the music industry.

Mija: Directed by Isabel Castro. With Jacks Haupt, Raúl Mascorro, Carlos Muñoz, Doris Muñoz. Follows Doris Muñoz, who began a career in music talent management and met Jacks Haupt, an auspicious young singer. Both share the ever-present guilt of being the first American-born members of their undocumented families.
