Mike (ミケ, Mike) is the guard dog of the Zoldyck Estate. [3] Mike is an enormous hound with white (Tyrian purple in the 2011 anime adaptation) fur and a blue tongue (pink in the 2011 anime adaptation). In both 1999 anime adaptation and manga, he is robust.

Their estate is surrounded by huge stone walls guarded by a giant hunting beast named Mike and attendants highly skilled in martial arts. Only few people unrelated to the family have any information about what is within the estate.

I believe that the Zoldyck family guard dog "Mike" is originally from the Dark Continent because: 1- The dog was hella strong and furious (atleast for the beginning of the series) 2- Even Gon, the boy who's supposed to be familiar with animals felt scared to death when he first met the creature, Mike seemed the have a kind of Aura too.

So the dogs seem to be at least basic nen user level. It wouldn't made sense to have dog guards if they weren't anyway. The real question: 'How strong Zoldyck's dragon pet?' above dragon.

Nov 29, 2021 · I have a fun theory that Mike was brought back by Zigg Zoldyck after his trip to the dark continent with Netero lol. There are many beasts in the world of HxH and Zoldyck Family have even Dragon :3. It's actually a "normal" hunting dog in their world. I've watched the entire HxH series and not once does the story hint at this.

It was almost an ending where Gon and his party were killed by a dog, but Carto Zordic accidentally called Mike, and they managed to escape from the crisis. It appears that Mike is not the only Jordic family dog.
