The only reason I know that I need the the FSM for [2009 -2011] is because I finally decided to watch a Nifty City video for the install, and they specifically state that if you have "2009 - 2011 Australian Model you need to use this adapter." My 370z is a 2011 model.

TLDR: The Nissan Nismo 370Z receives alot of unjustified criticisms in my opinion from automotive critics. It's interior dash layouts appeal to the style of a driver focused car alongside being a unique point of the Z.

Oct 14, 2022 · Nissan changed the headers for better air flow. In the same boat rn and people have suggested that to me. 2009/2010 have the infamous oil gallery gasket problem and the dashes tend to crack so try to avoid those years.

Apr 8, 2022 · As for common issues, pre 2013 models had some issues they Nissan ironed out in the 2013+ models. Common issues tend to be galley gasket failure, CSC failure, rear diff bushings. Check for oil leaks, which should be easy to spot provided they didn’t have the engine bay cleaned prior.

Jul 14, 2021 · Couldn't agree more. I'm buying an AWD Q60 Red Sport for the winter while I garage my 370. When I test drove the Q60, I was really happy with the performance of the 3.0TT, but that new body on the Z is just so lackluster compared to the 370 that I couldn't see picking one up used even with the new engine.

You want a 370z because they are a fun driver's car. They're classic FR setup with responsive v6 power and an amazing chassis. It's a faster s2000 with a roof. This car is just as much fun to cruise around town with as it is to drift around parking lots as it is to slam gears on a drag strip.
