According to urbandictionary: you say spanish words wrong, and say the spanglish version of them. normally spanish kids who don't practice their spanish, or who don't know how to speak Spanish are a no sabo kid. So they were likely mocking her for being a Latina person with poor Spanish skills.

Its easy to draw lines in the sand and dictate what the "true" Chicano experience is. Its not so easy to dismantle toxic behavior and create connections. Those things are hard.

Yo no los odio, más bien me da pena. Pobrecitos. Tienen problema de identidad por que al final del día no son de aquí ni de allá. Yo tengo muchas amistades y familia que les pasa lo mismo.
