Nato wood is much harder and heavier, while Naytoh is much closer to Mahogany in those aspects.

Feb 27, 2019 · Nyatoh= cheap mahogany substitute. Laurel=ugly compared to rosewood. I have an as73, that I thought was a '19 and made of the above. Turns out it's an '18 made of the traditional maple/mahogany/rosewood, or whatever name they want to call what was used. Am I glad I got the "original" woods? Yes. Why? Rosewood for aesthetics.

"mahogany" really seems to be a marketing tool at this point as some ot the woods used are called eastern or asian "mahogany" so they get by on a technicality.
