Ō goshi (大腰, major hip throw) is one of the original 40 throws of judo as compiled by Jigoro Kano. It belongs to the Dai ikkyo ( 第一教 , first taught group) of the Gokyo-no-waza ( 五教之技 , five teachings of techniques) , of Kodokan Judo.
