This impressive 36-year-old single malt from Tomatin is part of its Rare Casks range and was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and ex-oloroso butts. It is surprisingly sprightly for its age and proffers floral, fruity aromas of rosehip, mango and fruitcake on the nose, with notes of heather, honey and toasted chestnuts on the palate.

Tomatin has made it to its ninth batch of 36 year old single malt! This expression spends three dozen years (maths) maturing before eventually being bottled up at 46% ABV, presented alongside a handsome case to protect your bottle from dust and the like.

For 36 years, this whisky slumbered soundly, developing a rich, rewarding flavour profile, before it was all bottled up 46.8% ABV, featuring a label that takes a look at the gorgeous surroundings of the Tomatin Distillery.
