Why are these games so sad? : r/OriAndTheBlindForest - Reddit
Dec 17, 2022 · A moment that I've noticed it a lot was when Ori sat next to Ku in the pier at the very start of Will of The Wisps. The way Ori sits, his face, movement and the way he gets up all express so much emotion.
The End of Ori and the Will of the Wisps, personal feelings ... - Reddit
Mar 17, 2020 · The ending was very sad, but also it is very-very real. It is not the happy ending we're all used to from Disney movies. These games deal with death and loss as much as with friendship and love. And they do it masterfully, in my opinion.
What's an Ori moment (both games) that made you cry?
May 2, 2023 · Whole endng of Wotw is sad, from Oris sacrifice to Shriek crawling up to her parents corpse to Ku, mokis and the others being around Tree Ori. For Blind Forest, it's the beginning when Naru dies from starvation, and Ori tries to wake her up, only to sleep on her when she realizes Naru won't wake up.

Feb 17, 2021 · Technically, Ori is no longer Ori, He merged with the Light, He´s no longer the same Entity, I know the Character didn´t die, but in terms of ´´Story´´ It pretty much did, this is probably a very Subjective point, but to be honest, I feel extremely sad that Ori is no longer there anymore, turned into a Tree forever, He doesn´t even doubt ...

Mar 23, 2020 · It's still kind of sad, because Ori is no longer the adorable, energetic, adventure-seeking little glowing-Stitch-Toothless-bunny-deer guy we've come to know and love. But he is definitely not gone. The ending isn't about Ori's sacrifice and death.

Apr 7, 2021 · I get having more mature themes, but pretty much the whole game was sad (i.e Kwolok's death, Ori becoming the Spirit Tree, Ku's near-death + 'funeral', etc). There are a couple of other issues, but I've already repeated them so many times on …
The Art of the Set-Up. Why Ori and the Blind Forest Makes us
Jun 5, 2019 · To be honest, I always naïvely thought that something sad, or happy, or what-have-you, had to occur to make something emotional. This led me into the realm of sentimentality, also known as “I...
[Spoiler] I... kinda hate the ending. :: Ori and the Will of the Wisps ...
Mar 12, 2020 · I like SpitefulDwarffs happy ending concept, but really its not the fact its sad that bothers me, its how out of left field it was. Wasn't this supposed to be a journey of discovery for Ori and Ku, Felt like they just dropped that and got bored. The story is …

Ku was quickly found by Ori, in a near-death state, and transported back to Kwolok's Hollow by the Moki. Due to the intervention of the Voice of the Forest, Ku was ultimately kept from death, but otherwise left comatose, with limited time left.
