Apr 3, 2020 · About as hard as removing 2 screws, moving the action to the Oryx and putting the two screws back, takes less than 5 minutes. It would take less, but on of the screws is under the mag release to you have to install that separately after the two action screws.

Oct 18, 2020 · The core of each chassis (action to chassis interface) are just as good as each other and either will work as a PRS trainer, but the oryx although machined to the same quality and not at all fit/functionally inferior to the lss definitely doesn't have the intricacy and time of machining that the lss does.

Feb 8, 2022 · Hopefully MDT/ORYX will send me one that is to long so i can fit it to my rifle. Past that, the oryx CAN be machined out to fit 3.85 CIP magazines. It ALMOST touches a screw that holds the lower magwell to the chassis.

Apr 10, 2023 · Recently decided to get into rifle chassis and decided the Oryx would be a good starting point. I have many rifles in more standard stocks but nothing in a chassis. I ordered an Oryx Chassis, LOP Adjustment Plates, Upgraded Cheek Riser, Cheek Riser Knobs, and magazines from the MDT site. Looks like everything except the chassis has shipped.
