Daniel Stern dropped a tempting cookie the other day, told me he's working on arranging for new manufacture in Germany of the desired bulb (H9 capsule on H7 base, just like Osram 64217 Rallye 65w), but he didn't state a time frame.

Mar 12, 2011 · The 65W H7's are a little brighter and they do keep the exact same beam pattern from what I measured. These are definitely brighter then the short life slightly brighter H7 bulbs. These are the bulbs I remember. One thing I did notice doing side by side testing is that these are slightly whiter then standard H7 bulbs.

Looking closely at the specs of the 62261SBP I suspect if anything it's just a spiff-up rebrand of the 64217, perhaps because the off-road market regards bigger numbers as better ...

Dec 29, 2016 · I am trying to find the best, brightest H7 bulb for a set of halogen projectors and need some suggestions. I am currently using the Osram Rallye H7 bulbs, which are rated at 2100 lumens but is a 65w bulb and 300-400 hours.

Dec 11, 2021 · The Vosla 65w H7 is for real. It's also possible some people are incorrectly describing/assuming what they're selling/buying. I get mine from Dan Stern and they are as described: 65 watts, 2100 lumens (plus or minus a bit, as per normal spec tolerances), blacktopped H9 burner on H7 base, functionally identical to the old Osram 64217.

Dec 13, 2016 · I understand that the +150 Philips RacingVision H7 would be a performance upgrade over my current Osram Rallye H7, albeit with a shorter lifespan, and the +130 Xtreme Vision H7 will trade away some of the +150's performance in return for greater longevity -- but I'm not sure where the Osram Rallye H7 falls relative to the Xtreme Vision H7.
