This is a black colored cast nylon type 6 that exhibits more UV resistance than TECAST® T Natural, and is therefore much better suited for outdoor applications than our other standard grade formulations.

Natural (vanilla), Black. Standard Grades: Nylon 6 (PA6) and Nylon 6/6 (PA66) are used interchangeably in a number of applications, but they do have slightly different characteristics that can be critical in some applications. Nylon 6/6 Extruded: PA66. More crystalline than Nylon 6.

Due to its black color, TECAST L black is specially suited for outdoor exposure to weather and UV radiation. This cast nylon polyamide has been modified with oil for improved sliding and coefficient of friction properties. It has excellent wear and abrasion resistance.

Ensinger is a cast nylon manufacturer and supplier and offers materials in the form of cast nylon plates, rods and tubes. PA6 C rods are available in diameters from 50 up to 500 mm. Sizes for plates start at 0,25 thick and up to 127 mm.
