Sep 6, 2023 · So, a word to the wise if you have a yellow Spit/GT6, bring a fly wisk to your next buggy car show. My speculation is that Inca yellow would be more bug attractive than Pale or Jonquil or Mimosa yellow since it is brighter.

Greyed-out codes are Triumph colors not available on the Spitfire. Other notes: Russet Brown, Inca Yellow and Tahiti Blue were also used on MGB’s and Midgets. Mallard Blue is not the same color as MG’s Green Mallard. British Racing Green is not the same as MG/BMC BRG colors. Carmine Red may be the same as MG’s Carmine Red.

The original color of this car was a pale yellow called "Jasmine", and the background color of these badges matched it very closely. I never thought about it much, but I tacitly assumed that all GT6 badges were coordinated with their car colors.
