Located downtown Lakewood Ranch, just around the corner with Main Street, Pastries by Design is a family owned specialty bakery established in 2008 by Lyndsy McDonald, and is currently owned by Alejandra "Alex" Hernández-Giadáns.

Pastries by Design understands that plans change and we will gladly assist you in making changes to your order date and time whenever possible. We accept changes (flavors, fillings and some designs) for your order with 7 days notice before delivery or pick up date.

If you can dream it, Pastries by Design can make it into a cake! A set of golf clubs for dad, a favorite team logo for the groom, a basket of lilies for mom… the possibilities are endless!

All our cookies are invidiualy wrapped to preserve freshness. Sugar cookies can be customized to any size, shape or design. Custom design and/or using more than 4 colors can significantly increase the price.

Baked from scratch and covered ni delicious dark or white chocolate. One dozen minimum order for each flavor inlcuding: Vanilla, Confetti, Chocolate, Lemon, Coconut, Almond, Red Velvet. Basic round shape with stick a nd drizzle, sprinkles or chocolate (coverture) colored decoration. Special shapes and colors may significantly increase your price.
