Aug 27, 2023 · I heard somewhere that Fosphera was going to join G&K in the final battle, and it was a bird-like 'superspecies' (non titan large monster). It makes sense to have Mothra appear, especially with the egg tease at the end credits of KOTM.

Honestly, it doesn't look like it fits in the monsterverse. It looks like it belongs in a purely fantastical universe with abandonment of all science. I am down for seeing Phosphera in a future installment if she gets a redesign, perhaps rebranded as a closely related species to mothra.
