If the original "charger" is actually not a charger but a 5 V power supply (AC adapter), then yes, but there are tricks to get USB-C to produce 5 V. Just buy a ready-made USB-C to USB mini cable.

Jul 7, 2022 · Power rating should be sufficient, pogo pins are theoretically for 48W, your charger is rated at 24W. For the polarity I'd print (if you have the option) some kind of position lock, so you have only one position option to place the pogo pins so you won't reverse polarity.

Jun 23, 2019 · From replayability point of view I've seen Pogo pins for charging purpose on Honeywell barcode scanners. Multiple models and all had issues with Pogo pins at some point. Starting from pins getting stuck or dirt getting in them. The issue was fixed by small accomodations to the case for spring type contacts.

Apr 18, 2022 · I had an aftermarket charger that did this. All the nastiness from the back of your fitbit will build up and keep the springs in the charger from pushing the pins out. Try cleaning the back of your fitbit before you put it on the charger. Nothing crazy - just wipe off the back with a sheet or towel or something.

Oct 12, 2023 · Pin contacts can wear out over time, on both the charger AND the watch (this happened a lot on older fitbits and it sucked) If there's a bit of dirt or grime or dust in one of the contacts on the watch then often the entire thing won't charge.
