Normally this would be enough to get it a headless panther but post listening tests, I thought that would be too much damning so gave it one notch above.

Their answer, from Stu Lumsden, VP of engineering: We recognized that bookshelf speakers at this price are rarely placed on tall stands that position the speaker at the listener’s ear level.

Nov 21, 2018 · I also have Polk T50 towers and while I do enjoy their character the cabinet resonance is apparent (nowhere near as bad as T15, it's just that i can easily identify it). Stepping up to RP-260F as replacements, that T50 resonance I can tell was removed. The RPs have their own resonance but it's much more subdued and at a lower frequency.

Oct 10, 2019 · I can't exactly tell what this Polk's c-t-c is but it's at least 5" if not more. 5" is 2.7khz, which means whatever the actual crossover is (somewhere between 3 and 6khz) the drivers are too far apart and you're going to get lobing, just as the spinorama shows.

Bad specs/technical documentation and some reviewers saying after the fact they have the "true" results and interpretation, which are at odds with the manufacturer's communications.

Jan 14, 2020 · For about the same amount of money as the T15, a speaker with much better fit and finish and much better sound exists: the NHT SuperZero 2.1. I mean, how is the Polk logo not even silkscreened correctly on these? Just sloppy. Compare that to the piano black polished finish on the SuperZeros, with beveled edges hiding the seams.
