Sep 6, 2015 · Goku's skin looks like it's made of plastic in DB Super because they don't really understand how to use highlights so they constantly overdo it. Compare the noses. There's barely anything to the GT nose and yet it looks like a raised bump on his face that has an underside to it and comes to a point on top.

Aug 24, 2008 · Yep, I recall really bad art being shown during one of the Goku vs Majin Vegeta episodes where Goku and Vegeta had giant, long legs and just look ridiculous while fighting, they really didn't look like themselves at all.

Jan 16, 2017 · I just hate Goku art. To many times in the series, especially on his normal gi, we see his body shape (or his waist) look 30 pounds heavier while still looking scrawny. And his face has some really rough detail from time to time.

Oct 19, 2023 · The shot where Goku's face appears to melt isn't a "blink and you'll miss it" frame. It's a series of frames that remains on-screen and easily visible for several seconds. Normally, this would be caught and fixed by whoever reviewed that animator's work.
