Oct 20, 2020 · Imp is probably the best one here. However, if you pick up the Unearthed Arcana invocations Investment Of The Chain Master and Chain Master's Fury, quasit is probably better because you have a decent chance of landing the poisoned condition on a high-value enemy.

Sep 6, 2023 · Shovel and Imp aren't mutually exclusive. pact of chain is the best option imo, not because it is good, but because the other 2 are worse. pact of blade may be an option if you mix paladin levels, otherwise you'll rarely attack instead of cast EB, making it useless.
