Rodney Jay Soward (born January 16, 1978) is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) and Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football for the USC Trojans and was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the first round of the 2000 NFL draft .
