My first attempt was when I wanted to fly my Midwest Aerostar Trainer in high winds. I had been flying Helicopters for 2-3 years at that point and airplanes for about 5 years and had a spare mechanical rate gyro.

Oct 4, 2014 · Further researching, I found that you could fix some gyros and make the flight stable and easy for beginners. I rounded on 2 items: OrangeRX 3-axis gyro and FY30A flight stabilizer. ORX is just a gyro which costs like 35$ but the FY30A costs like $100 odd. Digging deeper, I think FY30A is pretty much the same as SAFE technology on Apprentice S15?

Heck many people still call them motors as well. yes it is possible to use a gyro stabilization system in a internal combustion engine powered plane.
