Dec 22, 2017 · I have an RV that has a Dish network receiver with HDMI and coax outputs. The RV is pre-wired with coax that sends the signal from the Dish receiver via coax to the TV's. I would like to have HD to one of the smart TV's however it would be a huge task to remove the ceiling to gain access to the wiring and run a long HD cable to the living room TV.

I would use the composite video (yellow RCA cable) and audio (red and white RCA cable). Your TV may have a shared component/composite video input so you would have to select composite in the TV menu. Jul 3, 2018 · To clarify you connected the yellow RCA video and red and white RCA audio outputs of the DTV box to an RF converter. The RF converter will output on either channel 3 or 4. Did you select that channel on the old TV? If the DTV box has HDMI the AV outputs may not be active. The RF converter could be bad.
