The thing though is, 2060 is still great for 1080p. So unless OP's goal is 1440p gaming (RTX or Rasterized) or getting really high FPS in all 1080p games, then it's better to save money. Sep 23, 2023 · My main choices are between a 2060 and a 3060, mainly due to the fact that they can offer good power without being overly expensive, since here in Italy PC parts are always goddamn expensive. The best price of a 2060 6gb i found is around 240€ while for a 3060 it varies between 260€ to 290€ depending on the ram amount.

I've got the 3060 eagle specifically because I wanted to run AI stuff and as a bonus it was cheaper and more readily available than the 3060ti. The RTX 3060 eagle is a 12gb card and at least in USD retails around what you quoted for the 2060.

Jan 1, 2022 · If you're considering the upgrade from a 2060 to a 3060, no, not worth it I'd at least aim for 3060 Ti or 6700 XT as minimum for higher resolutions, for 1080p, just keep the 2060, it's still great for said resolution

Jan 8, 2022 · To be fair, the 5600h that’s paired with the 3060 is only a 6-core, while the i7 paired with the 2060 is an 8-core, but they appear to show similar performance levels anyways, with the 5600h perhaps being a little better.
