Floating down the middle of the river on a makeshiftg raft without even a paddle to get out of the way of the barges, no life jackets. Paper said they were trying to foat down to Cincinatti. I wonder how far they made it? At least they did have a fishing rod.

Jun 20, 2022 · Just looking on google maps on I Muddy Creek bay on the far west edge of Sandusky bay. Any idea how the fishing is in there? There appears to be an extensive river system that lets into the bay in that area. I found a spot off 53 where I can park and get my raft in. Looks like the bass fishing could be decent in that area.

Sep 8, 2012 · I'll post pics of my Seahawk later dude. The thing is no joke with a trolling motor on it! It's a lot thicker than most other "pool toys" and has multiple air chambers so it's more like sitting on a white-water raft than a cheap piece of plastic. The Sevylor is the same way, and I think it actually has 5 air-chambers instead of 3.

Dec 17, 2006 · I would say just pick your days and hit Erie, a calm south wind less than 10 knots and your golden, I have perch fished Erie some days when a 8 foot inflatable raft could have been out there and did very well on some good size and numbers of perch.

May 10, 2012 · As a kid, and one of the first to fish the New lake, they use'ta lash a bunch of tree poles together and 'Raft' out towards the deep water with their cane poles in hand. I guess the raft fell apart with a bunch of them on it,,, and I THINK he said that a 3 year-old relative drowned!??? Anyway,, I'm sorry now,,, I accidently deleted his story.

Mar 22, 2013 · If you are referring to the boat that folds up flat, they do a decent job and would seem to fit your needs. I have looked them over at the Cleveland Sportsman Show in the past and I believe they come with a fairly good guarantee if purchased new. IMO it would be more comfortable to fish out of than a rubber raft, canoe or a kayak.
