Apr 12, 2019 · I had the retractable “gatortrax” on my 2018 and just ordered the RetraxOne MX for the 2019. I love them, seem to be made by the same company, but you do lose some space near the cab for the canister and like all rambox tonneau covers from my research, it does leak near the tailgate.

Dec 25, 2024 · The OP has the Rambox option so the MFT is not a factor. The MFT only matters on non-Rambox beds because of the extra bracing on those beds. In other words, you can use any bed cover that works with the Rambox bed regardless of which tailgate you have.

May 1, 2024 · I agree. I had the Truxedo Sentry on my 18 2500 Rambox truck and have it on my 22 2500 Rambox truck. Both leaked some, which I expected. In my research before buying the Sentry, I found that even the covers that have rain gutters built in leak. Pretty hard to seal up a tonneau cover and keep it that way.

I did not order a tonneau cover from the factory and read on one of the threads (link below) that the Utility Rails were different from the factory depending on whether or not you ordered the factory tonneau cover.

Jul 24, 2016 · Need some recommendations on a good tonneau cover for a 5.8 foot bed with Ramboxes. Ramboxes seem to limit the choices quite a bit from what I've gathered to date, as most aftermarket companies don't build covers for the Rambox models. Ideally I'd like a body color paintable tonneau hard cover, foldable for ease of use.
