i suspect the the desktop.ini was from the Games for Windows LIVE, the program keep search for any PC games in the hard drive and remove-able drive, maybe from this reason, the computer run slower than the condition of freshly reformated/restore PC. it acts like a virus that keep monitor and search for any PC games.. and record it in registry.

Sep 30, 2021 · It sees them as a blank CD. The options that come up immediately ask about how I want to burn the disk and then it goes on to format them. I sacrificed one disk to this process. I suspect that the software used to burn the CD-RWs was specific to the computer or drive that I was using at the time. CD-Rs promised compatibility and they delivered.

Apr 4, 2019 · The Hp desktop does read other cd's just not blank ones. The laptop shows an (E:) drive and the desktop shows a (D:) drive I don't know if that matters or not I've pretty much tried everything. It keeps telling me to insert a disk into the DVD tray but the blank CD-R is already in the tray. If anyone has any suggestions I appreciate any feedback,
