In Kenmare Bay, 55km by sea from the Bantry Bay locality, four red-mouth gobies were seen at the base of a reef within Cleanderry Harbour on a slope where sandy-mud met boulders at 7m. The fish were solitary and sufficiently close to be in sight of each other. They were present within or beside spaces between boulders.
