The 2000 (formerly the Laser 2000) is a performance sailing dinghy designed by Phil Morrison and currently sold by RS Sailing. It combines a traditional GRP hull and foam sandwich deck moulding with a modern asymmetric rig including a furling jib, reefing mainsail and single line gennaker hoist system.

We first started building this engine as a group 1 rally engine and then later developing more powerful units with side draft Weber carbs, dry sump systems and in turn all steel engines for racing.

A highly successful dinghy class, the 2000 (formerly the Laser 2000) has active sailing club racing fleets and a full open circuit series plus championships, supported by an enthusiastic Class Association.

As far as springs go, you have a choice of two - both rated at 145 lb/in; the green/white for forest and general rally (finis 905 2707) and the blue/white for tarmac (finis 905 2706), which gives a 1" lower ride height.

RS2000 is a car body equipped and customized in the Machine Complete. The body is based on Nissan Skyline DR30 RS Turbo. The RS2000tb driven by Ikki Fujisawa, one of major characters in the storyline, is based on the Nissan Skyline RS Silhouette Formula.
