In October 2005 I was reading some of the original RS200 club magazines and it mentioned that #016 was the IMSA-GTO car and then in January 2006 I was sent some images of the car undergoing restoration work in Colorado.

Ford arrived at the former WW2 airfield in 1963 & nearly all of their rallycars were developed there. Cars like the Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin-Cam, Escort RS1600, GT70, Escort RS1800, Escort RS1700T, RS200, Sierra Cosworth, Escort Cosworth/WRC, Puma Super 1600 & the new Fiesta Super 1600 were all meticulously prepared at Boreham.

Jan 28, 2015 · Why does Ken need 700hp and a sequential in a road car anyway, seems a bit boy racer to me, the RS200 is a classic rally car of interest/value to collectors in 80's specification and should be kept as original as possible and more importantly this car has competition history that should be preserved as it was... any modifying like this makes ...
