Can't wait to have one, and even though I prefer the look of wood on the grip over the black rubber, my next caliber to learn is 45LC and I do intend to test out those 'Ruger Only' loads. Apr 12, 2024 · Found the answer on the Ruger forum. "Model #5027 is the 4.2 inch barrel, square butt, Redhawk in 45Colt only. Model #5032 is the 4.2 inch barrel, round butt, Redhawk in 45Colt/45acp. Model #5050 is the 4.2 inch barrel, round butt, Redhawk in 45colt/45acp. Its the same as the Model #5032, BUT NOW built with the new sleeve and shroud barrel design"

May 28, 2018 · I ran the 5027 (4.2 inch barrel 45C ) w/ Winchester Super X 255 grn, Winchester PDX1 defender 225 grn and American Eagle 225 grn. (I had previously shot Herters 255 grn and HSM cowboy 200 grn w/out an issue.)
