May 28, 2016 · At the start of the books it goes Walder senior > Stevron > Ryman > Edwyn, from father to son. Edwyn has no sons, so after him comes his brother, good old Black Walder Frey. In the course of the books both Stevron and Ryman have died in somewhat suspicious circumstances, and Edwyn suspects his brother of being responsible for the latter at least.
