Sep 4, 2018 · The SKS is a carbine not a battle rifle like the M14. You should expect performance on par with that of a slightly more powerful/accurate AK that's locked to semi-auto. A proper M14-like weapon in the soviet arsenal is the SVT-40, but those didn't see much use in Vietnam.
