Honorable mentions: Akimbo AK Gens, Akimbo Mark-10s, and Akimbo Kobuses. The Akimbo Heathers has a pretty decent pickup if you use your ammo wisely. The pickup is around 3 to 9 ammo per box.

I use Mark 10 in my Akimbo SMG build (with crits) because it has good pickup rate and a Speed Pull mag. I use Heathers as primary.

Double you dps and double your recoil and ammo waste, akimbos are also primary weapons so they should be stronger in terms of dps, and akimbo smgs always have lower stats like stability and accuracy.
