Jan 3, 2024 · Absolvere rules man. I'm biased because that record came out while I was traveling abroad and I listen to it non-stop for a month in beautiful environments, but the lyricism, songwriting, and production/ overall execution feels amazing.

Signs of the Swarm aren't afraid to throw in some lighter moments to balance out the brutality. The instrumental title track is a good example. It's chuggy, groovy and not super heavy. The band also throws in quieter outros on several songs to give the listener a quick reprieve from the audio beatdown that is 'Absolvere'.
