Nov 21, 2007 · I've got both. A classic 900 T16S and a 9000. The 900 is narrower and I would say more fun to drive. The 9000 is more "up market". It's an executive to the 900's up and coming bright spark if you get my drift. Interior wise, the 9000's dash is a bit more user friendly but there's not a lot in it. Both cars are very comfy.

May 16, 2006 · The 900 is vastly superior from a drivers viewpoint as far as ergonomics/layout fit and feel goes; the 9000 has a nice 'big car' feel without being significantly bigger or heavier. The 2.0 Vs. 2.3T, well they're the same engines with T5 control, pitfall and strengths remain the same.

Aug 1, 2011 · I go so far as to say that the SAAB Aero is the best of the 9000 and any 9000 is the best of the SAAB lineup. The classic 99/90/900 were great cars but no match for a 9000. The newer 900/ 9 3 and 9 5 are just warmed over GM of Europe cars, nice in their way but not rugged or exciting to drive.

May 9, 2006 · My question is whether the 900 or the 9-3 has overall better reliability, at least on major components (engine, transmission, etc.). I know that there's a problem with a lot of the 9-3 engines and sludge, but apparently Saab will take care of those (as long as the engine screws up badly enough by 2008-2009, considering on what year I get).
