Apr 8, 2023 · Personally, I'd consider it a PU that lost its scope and putting a proper replacment on it brings it back to an operational & legit PU sniper. All in the know of PU sniper rifles are aware SAMCO imported real PU out of Yugoslavia so its not an issue of provenance.

Sep 4, 2013 · I have a '44 Izhevsk PU that was a Samco scopeless rifle. I located a scope from the same serial lot as the number stamped on the rifle, from a guy in Poland and an original Izhevsk mount/base from another gentleman in Russia.

Jan 16, 2013 · I won an auction on a samco pu rifle that has a repro scope and mount. It was represented as all matching #'s, but only has matching bolt and receiver- not sure of stock, but trigger group and buttplate don't match.

Jan 20, 2010 · Samco Import - 1944 Izzy Russian 91/30 PU Sniper. This is one of the rifles sent to Yugoslavia late in WWII. The scopes were removed and the mount holes were left open.

This 1943 91/30 PU Sniper Rifle is one of the rare non-refurbished rifles imported by SAMCO. Back when they were in business, SAMCO imported a small batch of Soviet WWII 91/30 PU Snipers from Yugoslavia.
