Dec 22, 2020 · I just installed a 980 EVO Pro in my laptop and it works great even though my laptop is PCIE 3.0 x 4. I get 3.5 Gbps read and 3.4 Gbps write, one small thing though. Ich muss dazu sagen, dass ich das Betriebssystem nach Einbau der 980 Pro nicht neu installiert, sondern die 970 Evo geklont habe. Nichtsdestotrotz sollte das nichts damit zu tun haben, da die 980 Pro korrekt angebunden wird.

May 21, 2022 · Go for the EVO 970 Plus instead. Both are PCIe 3 but the EVO 970 Plus is the better nvme. I know the 980 is £20 cheaper but there's a reason for that, it's a fair chunk slower writing data.

Mar 12, 2021 · 1x 500GB Samsung 970 EVO 1X 2TB Samsung 980 Pro. Firmware, BIOS etc. ist aktuell. Im Performance Modus ändert sich nur die Lesegeschwindigkeit auf knapp 6900 MB/s. Ich finde es ziemlich peinlich, dass Samsung dieses Problem seit mehr als einem Jahr anscheinend völlig egal ist und es bspw. auch keinen offiziellen Treiber seitens Samsung gibt!?

Oct 8, 2021 · HI, I have both 1tb 980 Pro and 970 EVO plus, in Samsung Magician v6.3 they both show with no problems at all, now if I upgrade it to v7 the 980 Pro's health show up as N/A and all other parts are unsupported and with the 970 EVO health show fine but like the 980 everything else shows as unsupported...
