Sep 30, 2023 · A Shenmue manga adaptation would be a fantastic addition to the Shenmue series, further enriching the story and characters in a way similar to what the anime accomplished. In the manga version, Yu Suzuki would have the creative freedom to meticulously depict locations and intricate details without compromising his vision for the story.

Jul 27, 2018 · I remember I was one from the many people asking for a Shenmue manga adaptation when some publisher asked on Twitter some time ago. Though today I have realized that it is almost impossible to put the immersion of the videogames to manga/comic even if it was beautifully drawn.
