Shishaldin Volcano, or Mount Shishaldin (/ ʃ ɪ ˈ ʃ æ l d ən /), is one of six active volcanoes on Unimak Island in the eastern Aleutian Islands of Alaska. [1] It is the highest mountain peak of the Aleutian Islands, rising to a height of 9,373 ft (2,857 m) above sea level.
