Jan 15, 2024 · With the second overall pick, the Lakers chose goaltender Waukiigan Shognosh from the Wallaceburg Griffins. Last summer, he helped lead Team Ontario to a gold medal at the Canadian U17 boys box lacrosse championship in Regina.

Aug 9, 2024 · Shognosh had a strong year in net for the Red Devils. He had an 85.4 save percentage, which was the second highest in the league amongst qualifying goalies. Shognosh has a bright future in lacrosse, and was a the second overall pick in the 2024 Ontario Junior A Lacrosse League draft, by the Peterborough Junior Lakers.
