Achieving Superior Tensile Performance in Individual Metal …
This work demonstrates unprecedented recoverable elastic deformation of Ni-tetraphenylporphyrins (Ni-TCPP) MOF nanobelts with a tensile strain as high as 14%, and a projected yield strength-to-Young's modulus ratio exceeding the theoretical limit (≈10%) for crystalline materials.
The Limits of Electromechanical Coupling in Highly-Tensile …
May 13, 2020 · Here, the electromechanical coupling of <111> Ge nanowires (NWs) is reported from unstrained conditions to the ultimate tensile strength. Under tensile strain, the conductivity of the NW is enhanced exponentially, reaching an enhancement factor of ∼130 at ∼3.5% of strain.
Electrical Properties of Partial-RESET States in Ge-Rich GeSbTe …
Feb 2, 2008 · We study the accuracy and reliability of these methods to target a specific resistance value possibly stable over cycling. (S)TEM techniques have been used to analyse the microstructure and composition of these cells. It is shown that the programming method has an impact on the shape of the amorphous dome.
Using in situ synchrotron X-ray diffraction during isothermal annealing and advanced transmission electron microscopy techniques, we solved this riddle and unveil the mechanisms leading to the overall crystallization of such alloys.
The Complete Scenario of the Thermal Crystallization of Ge-Rich …
Feb 2, 2002 · Germanium enrichment of GeSbTe (Ge-rich GST or GGST) alloys appears to be a promising way of increasing their crystallization temperature and thus enabling their integration as PCMs in embedded systems.
