This armless version of the Vendome Sofa, inspired by a 1940s French design, has a hand-carved frame made by Dorset chair makers in a choice of Soane in-house timbers. It is traditionally upholstered in a Somerset workshop using a Soane (or client’s own) fabric.

All of Soane’s furniture, including the vast array of chairs, stools and sofas, is made in Britain, collaborating with the brilliant craftsmen in whom Soane profoundly believes. Soane is proud that all its upholstery filling is natural and FR chemical free.

Part of The Lily Collection, a collaboration with Mark D Sikes, this sofa has woven rattan contours with a draped linen effect base inspired by Soane’s Ripple Console and Ripple Circular Table, and a diamond lattice rattan design on the sofa back and sides.
