The one where the L-Cluster appears totally empty is easily the best though. Gray is incredibly strong, and the reason I usually roll the dice on the L-Cluster the moment I think I could handle the Tempest.

Apr 16, 2023 · Anyway, I opened an L-Gate and the Tempest came through. Prepared for the this possible eventuality, my L-Gate system was heavily fortified and the nanos posed no problem. The side of the galaxy already dealing with the Great Khan was not so prepared, but I like to think that I helped because the Khan had to deal with them too.

In order to stop those fleets from spawning you need a ship (any ship) to be in the L-Cluster's terminal system. Hence you will have to take the terminal system on your own 90% of the time. After that the side systems aren't really a threat and the factory system is impossible for the AI to take (an awakened empire might not win).

Dec 4, 2021 · I'm playing Stellaris for the first time and having hard time with an L gate. One of the systems I have got one and it became active. It's spitting out fleets with 30K power. I managed to defeat them a few times but they keep coming before I'm ready for the next wave.
