Suzuki GS1000S, sometimes called the 'Wes Cooley replica'. The Suzuki GS series was Suzuki Motor Corporation's first full range of 4-stroke powered road motorcycles, having previously almost exclusively manufactured 2-stroke machines.

Here's a motorcycle that's marvelously comfortable, impressively quick, and respectably well-mannered around corners. The GS-GT works splendidly in the "see-ya-tonight-two-states-over" mode, but can't be called a two-wheeled Greyhound.

Suzuki’s first model in the liter class, the GS1000 was developed based on the basic engine and chassis layout of the GS750. The 4-stroke air-cooled inline 4-cylinder DOHC 2-valve engine generates maximum horsepower of 87 PS.

A good GS is still the mile cruncher it ever was, and still a big thrill in terms of sports bikes. However, there is a problem. The only bike in the whole GS1000 range which causes lust in the motorcyclist's loin is the Wes Cooley replica.
