The Suzuki RF series are sport touring motorcycles. They came with three engine variations: 400 cc (24 cu in), 600 cc (37 cu in) and 900 cc (55 cu in). It was in production from 1994 to 1999.

Suzuki RF900R model history
Resembling something you'd paddle in the sea, the RF featured the biggest rear light ever seen on a sporting motorcycle at that time, or indeed since. Riding behind one when the rider was braking was like riding into the gates of hell!
Suzuki RF400R and RF400RV model history
It was a sporty touring bike with a comfortable seat and full fairing. Its engine was based on the Bandit 400, tuned for low and medium speeds and with slingshot carburetors. It had a link-type rear suspension and a newly designed steel frame. In 1994, the RF400RV with variable valve timing was introduced and sold alongside the RF400R.
